Project Brainstorm (Brainstorm) Douglas Trumbull, 1983

Jennie (Portrait of Jennie) William Dieterle, 1948
It had never seen this movie, and was taking a lot of time seeing her appearing by lists of better movies of the fantastic movies. Finally I managed to give him the visionado that owed him. The movie is a marvel and an oddness inside the fantastic one of his epoch with this personage tormented for which the time seems to happen at different speed than for the rest of protagonists, touching topics as interesting as the destination, the inspiration, the obsession for a dear being, or the reality of the perception. Jeniffer Jones and Joseph Cotten are impeccable and William Dieterle directs with big wise move taking to good port a complex and twisted plot. The movie is full of visual details as filters that give linen aspect to the image or surprising special effects. His end left a sweet and sour retaste to me, but up to there the tape had me completely absorbed. The movie was a production of famous David O.Selznick, who got obsessed with the original novel and did not stop up to obtaining the movie that he was wishing leaving for the way five scriptwriters and forcing the rerecording of numerous parts of the tape.

Oz's Magician (The Wizard of Oz) Victor Fleming, 1939
